Just remember to connect negative to negative, positive to positive, and don't let any other part of the cars touch (like bumpers, doors, etc.). Can't hurt the generator (it isn't even connected until you start your TR), but if you get the connection backwards, it _might_ hurt the alternator (computer, etc.) in the newer car.
