As it happens, I just installed a new radiator shroud this weekend (had to
remove the old one to replace my TR6 medallion). The black shoud I got from
Moss looks original, I'd say, and it appears to be treated with some sort
relatively durable (rubbery?) black material. The old one was certainly
cardboard and it's hard to tell what it looked like when new. I found it a
bit awkward to get the thing on. You've got to be careful of the
turn-signal wiring. In fact, I trimmed the shoud a bit on the (far) left
side so it wouldn't pinch any of the wiring against the backing to the turn
signal housing. I was quite satisfied when I got it installed.
