Thanks for input from many, you know who you are, with regard to my question
a few days back about a trip down the east coast of the US to Florida.
It looks like it's going to happen starting on Friday the 14th. We are really
going to have to scramble now to pull it all together but transportation is
figured out anyway. One quick question for the more southerly of you - how far
south do you have to be before it's warm enough to sleep out in a tent?
Also, one more time, if anyone has recommendations for good roads or sights,
please let me know. This whole (round) trip will have to be done in 9-10 days,
but OTOH I don't want to sit on interstate freeways the whole time! Mountain
ranges, cotton plantations, banjo-picking inter-related.....OK I won't go there,
events coincident with the trip, stuff a couple of backward Canucks will be
awestruck by (this usually means nature or warm weather, but could include
interesting
music festivals, etc.) anything, please write. So far all I've done is bought
a road atlas.
Thanks and sorry for the lack of LBC content, but you're the only bunch I know
that could answer these things. I suspect there will be LBC content on the trip
though.
Thanks,
Jim
