He was (and is) thinking like a Triumph lover, not like some MBA/CPA
"bottom line/short term profit" kinda guy.  I don't know about you,
but all the real "triumph folks" that I know have stashes of "inventory"
for the times when we can't get parts.  When I order something that I
need, I often buy two when I need one, just so I've got a spare.  It
doesn't make "good business sense" to do so - but it keeps my cars
running...
