I have a few small rusted out uneven openings on the side of a frame member - near some holes for rear bracket exiting bolt/nyloc nut, and need to weld for strengthening. Any suggestions as to the thickness of sheet metal to use for heavy patching/strengthening of frame members. I will be using a flux core wire fed mig. Any comments appreciated, as I am new to welding and repairing Triumphs. Thanks, D. Michael TR6 '75 |
