tr6 egr valve

Listers, if anyone has taken apart or is familiar with the inner workings of
a TR6 EGR valve (same one was also used on Spits and TR7s I believe) I'd
like to hear from you. While trying to take mine apart (long story, don't
ask :-} ), I have damaged the set screw in the top of the valve and need to
find out what that set screw attaches to before I damage the thing even
further. Thanks in advance for any information.
