I use 20W50 oil in my recently rebuilt PI engine and I get similar
readings, although I've only seen 25 PSI on a _really_ hot day idling for a
hour on the NJ Turnpike.
My rebuild did not include new rocker arms or cam bearings (although the
rocker and cam shafts are both new) which probably costs me a few PSI, nor
did I replace the oil bypass spring. I've got about 4000 miles on the car
since the rebuild, I'm running a Wix spin-on oil filter, and I have a
supplementary oil line to the head (along with a trashed rocker shaft in my
'lessons learned' bin).
