| Thanks to those who answered my drive-on ramp questions. On the basis of these replies, I'm sticking to my jack stands and floor jack -- even though they are a big hassle to use. Reasonable height for me to work under the car on a creeper is at minimum the center position of the jack stands. I have to put a block between the car and my Sears hydraulic floor jack to get the car up that high. Sumner Weisman |
