I think the donor is a Celica or Supra. Supra is preferred as it is
already built to take the power of the 6 cylinder, and the casing is
aluminum (quite a bit lighter than the cast-iron Celica 'box, and the
cast-iron TR box too)

Lots of us are not in Europe- and there are lots more wrecked Toyota in
our yards than BMW/Mercs!

Joe's answer is the best- I have never seen a Ford Sierra; the most recent
EnFo product to make it to our shores (with rear-wheel drive, that is)
would probably be the Ford Mustang / Mercury Capri; the latter with the
German V6? (circa 1976?)

The OD can be troublesome, and expensive to get- if you've got one
already, that's great... but if you want one... heh-heh, yeah right. The
Supra 5 speed can take LOTS of power before they blow up, too.
