It just occurred to me that I neglected to thank all of you who replied to
my question about heating a Connecticut garage this winter. The general
opinion seems to be that I should insulate first and then worry about the
heat. Kerosene was suggested, also natural gas - even a small whole-house
furnace and perhaps a wood stove. Condensation seemed to be a major concern
of several of you. I cannot heat the garage 24x7, so I guess I'll take my
chances. Leaning towards a woodstove, simply because I HAVE one - and
because wood smoke smells so much better than gasoline (ok, so the car leaks
a little!). Or...maybe I'll just buy insulated overalls! Thanks, everyone...
