Well, for those of you who followed my thread, and tried to help, all is
well. Hell, it's better than well. She's running soooo well. My mechanic
(Triumph guru Bill Brill of Chesapeake Automotive Enterprises) says it's the
quickest "stock" GT6 he's ever driven...also straight as a arrow (perfect
frame), and virtually rust free (he was amazed too).

The problem was the radiator. The idiot PO allowed somebody to under-core
the radiator when it was recored!!! I never noticed how thin the core was,
but when Bill pointed it out, it was apparent...there was about 3/4" of
space on BOTH sides between the core and fins and the edge of the frame.
Anyway, she never goes above the 1/2 way point now.

Bill disconnected all vacuum to the dist. (advance and retard) and timed it
at 44 degrees at 4,000 RPM. She screams and I smile.
