My thanks to Dave M, Randall Y, Brians S & K, and Tom H for their advice on
re-orienting my distributor.

Yes, the woodruff key fell out and as Randall suggested it didn't go far & a
magnet easily retrieved it.

Tom's suggestion to partially engage the drive gear and rotate the engine to
until the oil pump dog dropped in worked fine too.
