shock replacement

i have a 74.5 tr6 which nddes new shocks;
do i replace with rebuilt originals, or buy an after-market tube type shock
kit.
of the tube type offered by the big three is there any differance in brands,
or shop for price?
repling off list may be best due to time constraints.
