Sad News
Some of you, here in England, at least,
may have heard of Triumph enthusiast, Sid Jensen of Guildford, Surrey.
87 years young, and still driving and enjoying his Signal Red Triumph Vitesse
2 Litre Mk.2 Cv 'VHV 814G' up until mid-May this year, when he attended the
TSSC South of England Meet at Leatherhead in Surrey.
Sadly, he recently passed away.
He was a popular figure in Triumph Club circles for many a year, and will be
very sadly missed by many.
(His car was his pride and joy, winning many trophies over the years and he
did almost all the work himself, for as long as he could manage it)
It appears on the front cover of the Brooklands Road Test Book on the Triumph
Vitesse 1962-1971.
Wherever old Sid has gone to now, may his trunnions never run dry, and may
his bodywork rust no longer!
For those who knew him, and are able to attend, I am told that his service
will take place at Guildford Crematorium, (near Losesley Park,Guidford,
Surrey) at 2.30pm on Thursday 2nd September 1999.
God Bless you Sid.
A scholar and a gentleman.
