Pulling the carbs back off will not solve the idle, remove the air cleaners
and check the butterflys, are they in backwards ??Have you tried to manually
set the timing. Are the idle screws adjusted correctly, is the choke in
operation full time? Are the shafts both connected for idle, is the linkage
adjusted properly ? Rember 95% of "all" carbs problems are electrical.
