If you look at some of the diagrams, it is obvious that they are more
pictorial them schematic. These are generally views from the back of the
instrument panel. Other diagrams (like in the Bentley) are abstract
schematics. If an instrument is polarized, there is generally a mark on the
instrument and a notation in the schematic.
