Martin Gonzales, 61 years old, divorced, no children.
Retired Civil Engineer, designed and supervised the construction of sanitary
sewers, irrigation systems, roads, and streets, mostly here in California.
However, I worked, as a civilian, in South Vietnam for about 5-6 years on
highways. Worked a little less than two years in Iran designing irrigation
systems.
Interests consist of collecting abstract paintings (cheap ones!), gardening,
just lately have again taken up black & white photography, and working on my
73 TR6.
Previous cars owned: 55 Plymouth (saw me through college), 65 dodge dart, 69
Olds cutlass, 77 Olds starfire, and a 88 Corvette.
Current cars: 84 Dodge Ram 50 to haul car parts for TR and gardening
supplies, 95 300ZX non-turbo (great car), and 73 TR6.
Became interested in British Cars after watching the TV show "The Avengers".
I wanted a Lotus, after seeing that TV show. However, as Clint Eastwood
said in the movie "the enforcer", a man should know his limitations. A
friend and a brother suggested a TR for a mechanically challenged
individual. Since then I've have spend numerous hours and dollars on my 73
TR6, otherwise known as "the favorite son".
