Born & raised on Scotland, so I grew up around these cars.
52 yrs. old, married for 30 yrs. November 1st. to Penny. Before
marrying and settling down, I worked in Northern Ontario and Labrador in
the mining industry. We live in Guelph, Ontario, and have two grown
and independent daughters, so we are now "empty nesters". Two wonderful
grand children and they love to ride in the Spit!
Penny works for McNeil Consumer Products, so we get a deal on
Tylenol when required. (This I find to be an advantage during some of my
more stressful moments) I have been self employed for the past ten
years or so, and am beginning to look forward to retiring, if I can
unload this monster that I have created, sometime in the next five years
or so. Of course, when this happens I will no longer have a shop where I
can store my TR bits and pieces. I don't think everything will fit in a
two car garage.
We are a small company of eight or so employees, and we do
industrial installations and service, along with the design and
manufacture of custom equipment and machinery, including controls and
software.

TR "bits and pieces" currently in the stable:
1966 Spitfire4 MKII ( my first TR, bought three years ago and
driven regularly)
1964 Spitfire4 (complete, for parts or restoration)
1958 TR3A (overdrive....started restoration, "frame off" and now
built back up ready for engine and
bodywork. Engine under rebuild at the moment)
1959 TR3A ( rolling chassis with excellent frame. Wish I had this
frame when I started on the '58! )
1960 TR3A ( complete car, for parts or restoration, siezed engine)

My other leisure activity is building and flying radio controlled model
aircraft. I have been involved in this hobby for about thirty years or
so, and mainly fly 1/4 to 1/3 scale models, powered by gasoline engines.

Some TR and RC info can be found at our website, below.

Too many hobbies, and too little time!
