Hey you New Jersey-ites and Carolinas-ites. I have through a stroke of
great luck run across the "second" owner of my car. He had the car from
1984 to 1986. He bought it from a man named Ralph White of Absecon, NJ.
Apparently Mr. White was in the auto business (body shop?) and restored
this car around 1980. He then autocrossed it then sold it. Subsequently
Mr. White moved to somewhere in the Carolinas (maybe North Carolina). He
lovingly restored this car, and it is holding up well to this day. The engine
is showing some signs of age and the transmission pops out of third gear.
I am thinking of rebuilding the engine, and I would love to know what tuning
he did to the engine before I rip it apart.
Does anyone know of Ralph White, or his current whereabouts?
