Tim,
I just bought a new battery from AutoZone. It is top rated and the
physical right size to fill the battery box in the period style. When
installed in a TR with the terminal pointing out... it is fairly free of
markings and I put one of the those Lucas stickers on mine.
Thanks to modern battery technology, it is about 900 CC?... which is at more
than twice what the original battery put out. They have the part number on
the in-store computer. The price was around $65.
