Start by suspecting the condition of the battery. Having the fan wired to
the ignition might be unrelated to your problem -- but I think I'd prefer
the fan controlled with either a thermo-switch or an manual switch (what I
use). Having it run all the time when it should only be needed under hot &
slow conditions seems to be an unecessary burden on the works (IMO).

Whoa -- sat for two weeks after electrical work was done? Now I would
really suspect the battery is at low charge.
As for the clutch, try bleeding the bleedin' clutch and also keep a sharp
eye on the reservoir & garage for any signs of fluid (fluif) leakage.
