Friends,
I'm stumped... Having received my TR8 efi back from the panel-
beaters I've now restarted, and finished, all the work in the
electric system related to fitting the European style flash-to-
pass function. Not really a complicated modification, actually.
It works great! Should have been standard issue IMHO...

But! A very strange phenomenon has turned up, and I don't know
if it's something related to the crash, the repair - or my work
in the electric system: When I crank the engine to start it the
left light pod starts cycling up and down... [The crash damage,
and repair work was on the right side.] Not the right one, just
the left one. It returns/stops in the down position as soon as
I let the key return from the Start position to Ign On position.

Electrically both pods are connected to the same feed/control
circuit so I can't see any reason for just one of them to start
acting up, if the fault had been in my altering of the American
spec wiring to European.

Both pods raise and lower in perfect parallel when ordered by the
proper switch commands, both the dipped headlight switch and the
flash function on the stalk.

Anybody recognize this behaviour? As said I'm stumped and out of
ideas. I've read the schematic until my eyes started aching [ ;-) ]
but couldn't find any connections that should give a phenomenon
like this. And it only occurs in the "Start" key position...??

Any input, ideas or solutions welcomed.
Best regards
/Odd
