Hi,
Sorry, but I didn't notice how old your original email was. I'm having a
really difficult time finding a Vitesse. Ideally, I would like to find a
white '68 with a black convertible top and black striping along the side.
Also, it needs to have the 6 cylinder engine. Unfortunately, since so few
were made for America, I'll have to take what I can get. Do you know of
any
good sources to find a Vitesse for sale?
Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

Thanks for your inquiry.

The car was sold about 2 or 3 years ago. The gent that bought it,
finished the project, drove it a few times and in a very unfortunate set
of circumstances, had it parked along the side of his driveway which was
being worked on. A dump truck fell over on its side and crushed the
Vitesse under it. he has vowed to rebuild it.

I do still the 1600 motor. It is apart, and probably missing parts. I
know I have the block and crank, but was told it needs to be bored out.
I have the original pistons, head, manifold, and should have the carbs
somewhere.

What were you looking for?
