Several responses came back regarding the oil used in the dashpots. First, yes the dashpots were refilled after the rebuild. Second, at the recommendation of my mechanic, I have been using transmission fluid. His rationale is that no matter what the temperature, transmission fluid will stay the same viscosity and therefore perform the same. Any opinions on that? Jack Radley 76TR6 |
