TR6 Rack Mounts

Hello fellow TR owners.
I recently joined the list and so far have been lurking and enjoying.
I maintain a ~1974 TR6 for my SO,  BRG with very light tan interior and top.
We live in Los Angeles, (great for top down driving)

I have my first question, could someone, or many, give the pros and cons to
the three different steering rack mounting systems, poly, stock and Moss'
solid aluminum.
