At a recent club tech session on Gearbox rebuild the member performing
the rebuild had a tool specifically designed for neatly twisting safety
wires... sort of a pair of pliers with a cork-screw plunger that you
pull to produce a perfect twist.
Of course one can get a similar result with just pliers and practice but
the tool added a little "voila!" to the process.
