There is absolutely no reason for this post other than to say I sincerely
appreciate everyone on this list. I have lurked for years, then last
year finally dove in and purchased my first LCB after lusting for one for
years. I consider myself mechanically challenged. But the advice,
encouragement and wisdom of this list makes it seem that I've done a
project several times in the past. Indeed. I'm not sure I would have
bought the car from fear of the things it would need had it not been for
this list.
Although the craziness of life (3 kids ages 4 - 11) along with the travel
my wife and I do professionally prevents me from working on my TR3B as
much as I would like, I really do love that car. In fact I told my 9
year old son as we were driving in it last weekend, that once he starts
driving and I'm out of town, that his friends will eventually say to him
"Oh come on, your Dad is out of town, he'll never know if we take the
car" to just remember 4 words:"I LOVE THAT CAR" (I'm also going to take
the distributor rotor with me, after all like I always say, trust
everyone, but cut the cards).
Anyway, thank you everyone (lurkers and posters) Please keep doing what
you have been, for all of us. And I hope one day (after several more
years) I will be able to help someone else who is in the same position as
I am now.
