If you decide to reinstall the oil line, check the size of the hole in the
banjo bolt.  I have had two bolts (please do not ask why I needed a
replacement) and the cross-sectional area of the holes varied by about 3 to
1.  This would have a big effect on the volume of oil to the head.
Different size holes are available, but appear to be supplied randomly with
the lines.  With the oil pressure that you have, I would expect a diameter
of 1 to 1.5 mm to be sufficient.  Shop around, see what is available, and
use the smallest hole to begin with.
