Thanks for all the feedback about part availability for TR3's. The car I
went to look at wasn't worth it. No interior, windshield, or front bumper.
The rockers and floor pans need replacing. The engine was rebuilt and
included an extra overdrive tranny. But too much work and missing stuff for
$1950. Someday I will get a TR3 since they are my favorite.

In the meantime, I am still dying to have a running LBC while we work on our
'72 TR6. I haven't had a running LBC since I was 18 in 1969 when I owned a
Spit. I am going to look at Capt. Jim Hinkley's Spit that was posted
yesterday for sale. The price seems right at $850. At least I may end up
with something driveable for the next couple summers until the TR6 is done.

What should I look for when reviewing the car? Where are the most common
fault points to observe? Thanks for the help! I hope to drive to VTR/Maine
in an LBC instead of the Camry!!!
