There has recently been a thread about the genealogy of SAH and
TriumphTune.
There was the suggestion that SAH and Triumphtune are linked in some way.
I think that the linkage was rather direct. I have a 1970 book showing
"TriumphTune by SAH"
In the 60's there was also a company called Lawrencetune owned by
Christopher J. Lawrence which
apparently did a lot of racing work for TR engined Morgans.
Whatever happened to Lawrencetune? Did they evolve into Triumphtune, or is
the similarity
in name a coincidence.
We all know that Triumphtune eventually merged into Moss Europe (or so I
believe).
A racer Neil Dangerfield fits into this somehow. Did he takeover SAH, or
was he just a racer? He
was also involved in Lawrencetune as well. Again, maybe just as a test-bed
racer.
