I can say if you are serious about Webers, take the time to fabricate a cable
throttle.  You'll be very glad you did!  On the carb end, you can simply make a
bracket to slip under one of the top bolts from the manifold to hold the cable 
end.
Attach to the upper  throttle shaft using the supplied arm.  At the pedal end, 
you can
weld a bracket to the upper part of the pedal.  The hole for the cable is 
already
there for the PI cars.  Throttle cables are redily available from just about any
street rod shop under the brand name 'Lokar'.  You will probably also need to 
add an
additional throttle return spring if you choose to remove the lever from the
passenger's side of the pedal shaft.  You can do this by using the existing 
eyelet
under the firewall for this - similar to the return springs on the brake and 
clutch.
Simply drill a small hole through the pedal arm for the other end of the spring.
