With all the talk about oil filters lately (Fred's question
about the superiority of spin-on filters, and the questions
about which spin-on filter to use), you all might want to
take a look at:

This fellow has spent a lot of time cutting various brands of
filters apart and looking at how they are made. It is quite
interesting, and he has some very strong opinions...
