Thank you to everyone who responded on my barely running TR6.  The symptoms
were the car was only running oif three cylinders, the cause was in fact a
Pertronix "collar" that was starting to come apart.  A little super glue,
and I am back in business.  Longer term, I'll remember to carry around my
spare set of pints!
