Congratulations on getting one with OD, but it is a 1974.5 model, probably
built in October or November 1974. Check the commission plate inside the
LH door.
The colour is probably Damson (like the plum). This will also be marked on
the commission plate.

The hot Canadian sun must have affected your calculator: 35C is 95F, 107F
is 41.7C. Was the humidity really that high? It sounds more like
Singapore than Ottowa and certainly not enjoyable.
