I had a surprise last week-end when I filled the radiator with coolant,
the surprise was wet shoes and still an empty radiator, there was a hole
in the middle caused by the guy with the wet shoes when he (I) put the
engine back in the car. So 3 1/2 hours later the radiator was out of the
car again......... I soldered the holes and pressure tested the radiator
with a bicycle inner tube cut in half (Way more than the 4 lb of the
radiator cap).
I am still wondering if it is going to holdup? If anyone has any
experience with patched radiators please let me know.
