I'm considering installing an electric fuel pump on my street TR6. It is more difficult to start when it is hot. I'm told that heat soak is the common cause for this and the common remedy is an electric pump. I'd like to hear some real life experiences from my fellow TR6 owners -- 1) Does an electric pump eliminate this problem? 2) My inclination is to remove the mechanical pump. Unfortunately this changes the appearance. Any comments on this approach? -- uncle jack 61 TR4 Racer -- fast car 71 TR6 Street Car -- fun car |
