My experiences with the Gunson pressure bleeder are positive. One thing to
keep in mind is to use a very low air pressure, to avoid leaks around the
master cylinder reservoir. I use the spare wheel as a pressure source, but
reduces the tire pressure to, let me guess, 0.5 bar before commencing.
In my experience, it works as advertised. The reservoir level maintains
itself, so you can bleed all 4 wheels without refilling. It also works
well for the hydraulic clutch, which can be tricky to do with traditional
means.
I got all the adapters, since they were quite inexpensive anyway. I have
yet to find a car where one wouldn't fit.

who has no trouble opening the bleed valves now that he remembers to use
copper grease on their threads, and putting a plastic cap on top.
