I agree with the suggestions stating it is your car - do what you want.  I 
personally like the Damson since I just bought my first TR6 and it is the 71 
Damson.  I am currently doing the body work but plan on keeping the color the 
same.

I plan on having a body shop do the painting.  Any suggestions on what to 
look for and what information to give the "professionals" in buying the best 
matching paint?
