Hello Tom. NO WAY. If you have the engine out of the car? Then a price of $1500 is more a ball park figure. You can call a machine shop and get the prices for. Boring, honing, turning the crank, resurfacing block, and valve job. They all have a price list for work. 4,6,and 8 cylinders. I just did a MGB engine overhaul. And had to remove and install the motor. The bill was $1800. If you have overhaul a small block chevy. Then you can do a TR-6 engine. Good luck. John Flintstone, GA |
