Well, most of them anyway! after taking the advice of the majority of
the listers, i spent a few grand on tr6 parts for my project. i worked
with a "ken" at trf who was very patient during the 1/5 hour phone call
during the last day of the winter sale. one thing's for sure, all these
new parts lying around a definitely a MOTIVATOR to get moving on this
car. it appears all of the interior trim and ragtop are back-ordered but
that's ok because i'm months away from that phase anyway.
i have dismantled the engine down to the block, crank, and head
(removed). i want to turn it over to a shop to get it ship-shape while i
work on the chassis. what questions should i be asking to determine the
qualifications of the mechanics? there are a couple of british car
specialists in denver. should i limit my search to them or can i contact
anyone? how do i decide who to go with? should i buy the bearings etc.
from one of our vendors or let them supply them? thanks in advance for
your great advice!
