Uh, it indicates that you've either found a Triumph GT6 or that
someone has switched commission number plates and titles with such a car.
And KC wouldn't be a 1971. It would be 1970 or earlier depending on the
rest of the number.

Hard to say without seeing the car. But I'd sure look closely at inner
fenders and any and ALL front end sheetmetal for evidence of crash damage
and perhaps sloppy repair.
