Easter Sunday was a very special day in that it marked the completion of my
frame-off restoration on my 1970 Home Market TR6. It's taken almost three
years to the day to complete. It's hard to describe the thrill of finally
driving a car that has been a labor of love over the past years! It's
clear to me that my success in completing the restoration would not been
possible without the tremendous help provided by all the contributing
members of this list. My filing cabinet must have hundreds of e-mails
covering topics A to Z on TRs that I've used on this endeavor. A special
thanks to Dan Masters for helping with electrical problems, and hearty
thank you to all the PI owners out there who's guidance has helped in
getting my system back together.
Now I can look forward to enjoying my TR6 the way it was meant to be -
driving it! BTW, I have not found that driving a RHD car in San Diego to
be much of a handicap. I just have to get used to having the indicators on
the right; shifting with the left hand came easily - getting into reverse
is a breeze!
Thanks again for all your help. This list is truly super. Thanks Mark for
making it all possible.
