Hi Listers, The capillary tubing that attaches to the temperature gauge in my TR3B is truly ugly. There's certainly a ton of surface rust, if not worse. Is it safe to put this in the blasting cabinet (after covering up the gauge itself)? I have heard on the list how expensive it is to replace the tube if it is damaged, so I figure I'd better ask before further increasing my debt. Thanks for any advice on how to make it look respectable. Dave Moag 77 Spitfire 62 TR3B (inching closer to being alive) |
