more beneficial to send some of these responses directly to a person rather

for "chat" back and forth that really doesn't contain anything beneficial to
the list group. Maybe I'm just PMSing but the result is hundreds of
postings a day of redundant BS. Normal answers to questions and informative
postings seem fine and again, I don't want to offend anyone just make the
list a little more efficient.

I'm not offended, but I disagree. I like reading all the idle chat. I don't
always respond or get involved in the strings, but I still read almost
everything posted to the list. See, I don't just like the cars, I like the
people who like the cars. All the random thoughts posted to the list increase
my enjoyment of our hobby and my appreciation for the people who share it. I
suggest that if you don't have time to read all the postings, scan the
headings and use the "delete" button. Alternatively, subscribe to the digest.
Personally, I'm not into "efficiency" -- or else I would not have a Triumph!
Just my .02.
