I think you're right about being tailored for the 4A's and later. On the
underside of the piece that covers the drive shaft hump they have the jut
backing cut for the parking brake handle. The backing is still glued in
place but you can see the cut lines for it. Your explaination of the
extra "humps" makes sense also. I have to admit that had me baffled!
Bob Bailey also brought up the fact that on the 4A's and later the console
would cover that area. Hopefully that can be remedied by the factory and
a replacement piece obtained. The same may have to hold true for the rear
deck cover. If I can't get it to fit down to the driveshaft hump then its
a problem.

Overall I'm quite happy with the carpet and its quality. It would seem
they have a well thought out product, at least in reguards to the 4A's
thru TR6's anyway!
Mark is using a set of this carpet in his wifes TR250 (I think, could be a
4A).
