Dan,

Did they delete the switch in the trunk?  In other words does the
light come on with the lights regardless of whether the
trunk is open or not?  If so, they saved about 33P on that switch
which never works anyway.  Sounds like a winner to me.  ;-)

BTW my early 74 (as opposed to 74 1/2) TR6 was the same as my 71
