Ron,
It's alot of work to take to head off. I did it twice on two TR6's. With
all that invested, I reccommend to take it to an automative machine shop
and have them not only clean it, but check the valves, do any
necessary machining, etc.
The shop near does it for about $100. You might even see in an
increase in compression.
