Thanks to Bob Sykes who realized that I had
mis-identified the Switches on the tranny, I was able
to review my wiring and now it all makes sense. (Even
though the colors still don't match the Haynes diagram)
It seems that I was thinking that the switch in the
front of the single rail tranny was the reverse switch
as it is on the 3-rail. But the reverse switch on the
single rail is located off the side of the shifter
housing at the rear. With that in mind, the wiring is
as follows:
