Its been a while since I did it, but I seem to remember that there are six
bolts clamping the posts. Two are accessed from outside the body and one
from inside. There are also the three bolts along the top of the fascia. On
mine one side came loose immediately, one side was quite well stuck and
required some "encouragement" to come loose. I think I stuck a little block
of wood over the end of the post and used a hammer. Awkward but it worked.
As to the steering wheel, loosen, but do not remove, the center nut. Wiggle
and pull on the wheel and it'll come loose. If you remove the center nut
you'll impale the wheel into your face when it pops loose.
