Subject: Kastner
In a recent email somebody mentioned a book by Kastner. Who is this guy, and
would it contain much useful info on tuning a TR6 engine for performance??

R.W. "Kas" Kastner founded the competition department for Triumph. He was
also head of the competitions/race division in the USA/Canada. He wrote most
of the Competition Prep manuals for the various Triumph models and he is a
total "guru" when it comes to making Triumphs go fast. I am happy to say that
Kas is my friend for life. He even autographed the under side of the hood on
my TR250 which is now the favorite part of my car. If you want to know about
race prepping a Triumph engine, Kas is your man.
